Timeline of progress
- In 2020, Bishop Daniel Abot was appointed as a Resource Church Specialist to support, develop and resource ethnic congregations in the Anglican Church Southern Queensland.
- Bishop Daniel has been doing significant work in connecting with Sudanese and other ethnic congregations.
- A survey of leaders and parishioners in ethnic congregations is being undertaking in 2021 and 2022 to get a clearer snap shot of these congregations.
- Bishop Daniel publishes regular work updates in the ‘Many languages in Christ’ newsletter.
