Leadership Development
The Anglican Church Southern Queensland (ACSQ) recognises the importance and value of leadership and has made it a strategic priority to assist clergy and staff to learn and grow as leaders. The ACSQ leadership strategy is underpinned by a leadership framework, which serves as the basis for leadership training and intervention programs.
The ACSQ Leadership Framework
The ACSQ Leadership Framework is made up of six components, with each component representing a fundamental leadership principal for all clergy and lay leaders. The components are all underpinned by the ‘Missio Dei’ (Mission of God), which represents our mission and values as leaders of the Church and followers of Christ.
The Framework was developed by a group of representatives from across the Diocese, including clergy, lay people, the Archbishop, Bishops, Executive Directors, and key stakeholders.
